One of your best posts to date.

The food movement is very important and it's encouraging to see certifications like this one that are raising the bar by focusing on animal rights (though I must say that I despise PETA). Also, more attention needs to go to the people behind our food, typically minorities with low incomes.

I think that many farmers probably could be Certified Humane, but either don't want to spend the money to be inspected (over $1000) or don't know about. In the latter case, it's great to spread the word with blog pieces like this one.
