Fear
I often suggest that people prepare as best the can for the difficult times ahead but my hope is that it would be done out of an attitude of prudence and not of fear.

2 Timothy 1:7: “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind”

Faith
I don’t believe it is wise to simply ignore the world and what is happening with the attitude that God will always protect no matter the choices I make.  If that were wise then why buy auto insurance or wear a seat belt.  I also don’t believe it is good to have the attitude that you can be totally self sufficient and essentially don’t need God’s provision (which isn’t possible anyway). I think there is a line we have to walk in which we try our best to make wise decisions and have faith that God will take care of the rest.

Jeremiah 29:11: “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

This blog is my way of expressing my unique world view:

• The Bible is the Word of God and Jesus is our only true hope
• We should abolish of The Federal Reserve and go back to the gold standard
• Storable food should be bought before America goes into an  inflationary depression

These are not popular positions to hold but I believe it is important for people to hear the truth- hence the name TruthMission.  Please consider subscribing- I only post once a week and my posts are usually concise.

Here is another video showing that we appear to be moving in the direction of a global currency.  This is interesting to me because the Bible says you won’t be able to buy or sell without the mark of the beast.

More and more power is being centralized on a global level.  This appears to be a stepping stone towards what the Bible calls the “mark of the beast”.

Please comment and let me know what you think?  Would it be a good idea from a economic stand point?  How about from a moral stand point?

If it were legal would you try it?  Would it be a sin if it wasn’t illegal?

I don’t claim to be the authority on this subject and I admit that it is not an easy one to tackle.

There are a few different point of views in regards to the end times.

One website I found recently connects the news with end time prophecy and does so with a very humble tone.  They actually believe that the 7 year tribulation started the beginning of 2007.  I am not saying I agree with that claim but I think the site it worth looking at.

I think it is a good idea to research this subject as long as it can be kept in it’s place.  Know that you will not find all the answers and that salvation is dependent on faith in Jesus Christ and not on what degree you understand Bible prophecy.

However things end up playing out one thing is clear and that is we have less and less time to spread God’s message of salvation.  May we all learn to beat our bodies into submission and do what we all need to do.
